WHAT WE DO
Sharing Hope, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of those in need within our community and beyond by fostering compassion and hope. We achieve this by providing essential resources and developing programs and initiatives that address the unique needs of each community we serve.
OUR PROGRAMS
Renew Youth: Restoring Hope and Opportunity
Sharing Hope, Inc. is committed to helping young individuals who have been convicted of minor crimes rebuild their lives. To support this mission, our organization has created a comprehensive psychological approach developed by a team of experienced mental health professionals. Our goal is to guide these youth through a smooth reintegration process into the community. Through personalized therapy, counseling, mentoring, and various support programs, we aim to empower these individuals and help them successfully re-enter society.
Pathway to Shelter: Supporting the Homeless Community
At Sharing Hope, Inc., we provide essential resources such as food, clothing, and comprehensive mental health services, along with strong rehabilitation support. In addition, our organization offers specialized job training programs to help individuals develop the skills needed to secure employment and achieve stable housing.
EmpowerHer: Breaking the Cycle of Domestic Violence
Sharing Hope, Inc., offers tailored mental health support to women through individualized counseling and rehabilitation programs. Our goal is to empower these women to overcome the cycle of violence, creating a brighter future for themselves and future generations. Through our initiatives, we work to help them rebuild their self-esteem and regain their independence.
Building Strong Foundations: Fostering Healthy Families and Communities
Sharing Hope, Inc., in partnership with a team of dedicated mental health professionals, offers a wide range of therapeutic services designed to meet the diverse needs of our community. Our services include individual, group, and family therapy, as well as counseling for couples. We also provide specialized support through our Youth Mentoring Programs, which focus on high-risk youth by offering guidance, positive role models, and targeted interventions that promote personal growth and academic achievement.
In addition, we offer counseling tailored to individuals who are current or former drug users, as well as those dealing with mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, bipolar disorder, phobias, and panic attacks. Through these comprehensive services, Sharing Hope, Inc. is committed to fostering emotional well-being, strengthening families, and empowering our community.
Warming Hands and Feet
Each year, we distribute winter hats, socks, and gloves to schools, daycares, and individuals of all ages within our communities. Your contribution enables us to sustain this essential initiative, ensuring that everyone in our communities stays warm and protected during the colder months. Please consider donating to support our cause. Your generosity is invaluable and greatly appreciated!
Our Mission Trips
Sharing Hope, Inc. has been deeply involved in community outreach, organizing backpack giveaways and toy drives both locally and internationally, spanning regions such as Cuba, Mexico, Colombia, The Dominican Republic, Malabo in Africa, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Chile, and beyond. Our primary aim is to equip children for academic success by supplying them with backpacks filled with essential school supplies, ensuring they start their educational journey prepared. Additionally, we spread joy and instill hope by sending toys to various orphanages and children’s hospitals, brightening the lives of countless children. For the elderly, we provide essential items such as medicine, incontinence briefs, socks, hats, and gloves, offering comfort and support. Moreover, we empower low-income families by offering training programs in skills such as baking, sewing, computer literacy, jewelry making, decoration, and adult ESL classes, enabling them to establish small businesses and achieve self-sufficiency for themselves and their children.
